Aims & Objectives
- Targeting future business leaders and
professionals
- Raising awareness amongst gifted local
students of their social responsibility

in and be sensitive to charitable and communal

- Educating young peopleabout the workings of charities
and how they manage their investments
Programme Overview
- Students are selected to work individually on a
number of topics of a charitable and a financial
nature during years 12 & 13 and year 1 of
university
- Year 12 - Charity research project/set up of a
3-year Virtual Investment portfolios
- Year 13 - Charity fundraising project/ongoing
portfolio management
- Year 1 University - Research project - "Charities
and their investments"
Selection Process
- Students in Year 12 (schools and college) who
gained 5 A's and above in their GCSEs are
invited to apply
- Selected students are invited to a welcome
reception to launch the project
