
Ruth Parasol is a technology entrepreneur and philanthropist. Her early investments in digital entertainment led her to create and develop Party Gaming Plc., in 2005, whose initial public offering was one of the most successful in the history of the London Stock Exchange FTSE 100.
Ms. Parasol’s philanthropic giving activities are centered on the Bonita Trust, which provides charitable giving to support humanitarian projects such as fresh water for Haiti, India’s Mann Deshi Business School for Women and the British Red Cross Humanitarian fund, among others. The DeLeon Family Care Project, which she established with her husband, Russ DeLeon, and which has funded Tel Aviv University, The Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, The Prodean Animal Rescue Center in La Linea, and other community-related projects in UK, Israel, Poland and Spain and Gibraltar.
A multi-national born in San Francisco to immigrants, she spent her formative years in the Bay Area of California. Ms. Parasol earned a B.A. in Business from the University of San Francisco in 1988 and a J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 1992.
